The winners in the international forum Computer Space were awarded on the official ceremony in 10 hall of National Palace of Culture on 12th October.

The even was open by the President of the Republic of Bulgaria. Special guests of the ceremony was minister of finance of the Republic of Bulgari Mr. Milen Velchev, minister of eduication and science Mr. Igor Damianov, vice chairman of the Parliament Mrs. Kamelia Kasabova and vice minister of youth and sport Mr. Feim Chaushev.

The press conference for announcing the begining of competitions in this year edition of Computer Space will take place on 15th June 2004 (Thuesday) form 11:00 in the National Press club of BTA. The accents of the program will be announced.

Dr. Rosen Petkov, president of the organizing committee of the forum and Naiden Nikolov, expert in the President of the Republic of Bulgaria cabinet will participate in the press conference.

The sixteenth edition of the computer art forum for new media and communications Computer Space 2004 will take place in October.

Computer Space is the biggest and most popular computer art event in Bulgaria. Artists and companies from all over the world show their best achievements, share their ideas and discuss on the future of computer and electronic arts. In the last editions a number of famous companies and organizations took part - Academy for Media and Art (Cologne), ART+COM (Berlin), IRCAM (Paris), Bildo Academy (Berlin), Institute for Electroacoustic of Vienna University, art departments from Sydney University, AGAVE - France and as well as many others.

With pleasure we could notify that with every year the Forum is gaining a higher International populiarity - last issue the registered International participants were 600 from more than 15 countires (Australia, Austria, Canada, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Nigeria, Romania, Slovenia, Thailand, United Kingdom, USA, etc.).

We would like to thank you to all of you, who support and assist this year Computer Space to be held on a high level. Last but not least, we would like to thank the superp competent and impartial jury for their contribution to Computer Space.

We rely on you and we are expecting your proposals and recomendations, for the contribution Computer Space to become more prestige and valuable in the future.
