Program of XVIth edition of the international computer art forum Computer Space 2004, halls 10 and 3.1, National Palace of Culture.

12 October (Tuesday)

16:00* Opening and award ceremony of Computer Space 2004 winners and awarded with the special prizes. Computer graphics exhibition
17:30 Cocktail - meeting with participants and guests

*Please, all guests and participants should take their seats till 15:45 due to security measures and media coverage

13 October (Wednesday)

11:00 Handicap-compensating techniques and technologies for humans with handicaps, which make it possible to use the computer and the Internet. The seminar is organized by Technischer Jugendfreizeit und Bildungsverein (Germany).
12:30 The use of new media in work with young people. Presentation of My.net project by Bernd Gabler (Germany).
13:30 Lunch
14:30 Presentation of UNESCO’s Young Digital Creators project and the prizes organized in the frames of the project. The project will be presented by Jove Jankulovski (Macedonia).
15:15 Presentation of nominated projects in Computer animation
16:15 Presentation of nominated projects in Computer graphics
16:45 Presentation of nominated projects in Electronic and computer music
17:30 Presentation of nominated projects in Offline multimedia
18:15 Contemporary computer art forms and future tracks. Presentation of European Media Art Festival (EMAF). Presentation of projects from European computer art festivals. A special guest of the forum will be Alfred Rotert (Germany),director of EMAF.

12:30 Presentation of nominated projects in Web design - Society and institutions
13:15 Presentation of nominated projects in Web design - Entertainment and hobby

15:00 Presentation of nominated projects in Web design - Technology and market
15:45 Presentation of nominated projects in Web design - Information and media
16:30 Dynamic web sites and security in Internet. Security techniques and technologies in development of dynamic web content with ASP and PHP. Lecturers of the seminar will be Plamen Hristov, Vladimir Tchalkov (Microsoft Bulgaria) and Bogomil Shopov (WebDev Magazine).Presentations will make also Valentin Milev, system administration of the Council of Ministers and Emil Iliev, head of department "Imformation technologies" in the administration of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Participation in the forum is free. The opening ceremony is with invitations. If you want to be a guest of the ceremony, please send an e-mail on the forum’s mail address (info@computerspace.org) till 08.10.2004 and we will send you back an invitation (invitation is not necessary for participants in the competitions and the seminars, jury members, co-organizers and partners, media representatives and VIP guests with invitations).
