The official awarding ceremony of the 26th edition of Computer Space - international computer art forum, was held on 02.11.2014 (Sunday). The approved projects this year were 154. The prizes were given to the awardees from representatives of America for Bulgaria Foundation, Sofia Municipality, Ministry of Education and Science, Bulgarian National Television, Bulgarian National Radio, Host.bg (Hosting Ltd.), Creative Center Ltd., Photo Cafe, Olympus Bulgaria, PCWorld Bulgaria, members of the jury and the Organizing Committee.

We are happy to announce that for the 26th edition of Computer Space we will introduce new awards in 8 categories of the competition - People's Choice Awards. From 10.00h on 01.10.2014 to 18.00h on 23.10.2014 each one of you may vote for your favourite projects on our website. |

Main topics in Computer Space 2014 programme |

Here are some of the main topics in Computer Space 2014 programme. More information will be announced later on.
1. International seminar "Computer animation"
This seminar consists of presentations by authors of projects in the "Computer animation" category in the "Computer Space 2013" competition. Their presentations will be followed by a screening of the movies, introducing the audience to the world of computer animation, allowing them to look into the very process of creating an animated movie, starting from the idea and going to the post-production.
2. International seminar "Visual effects"
This seminar will show details on the visual effects shots prepared for a specific TV series - keying, compositing the different layers, different simulations in a shot, etc.

Photo retouching competition |

Computer Space, Photo Cafe and Olympus are organizing a special "Photo retouching" competition, part of "Computer graphics" category.
The terms of the competition are as follows:
1) Each author may apply in the competition with only 1 project, which includes an original photo and the photo after retouch (2 files).
2) Genre of the photos admitted: Fashion, Advertising, Portrait, Product.
3) Each retouched photo must have a short description and it should be in .jpg format.
4) For preselection the longer side of the photo should be 2000px.
5) For the final selection the longer side of the photo should be no less than 4000px (after preselection the organizers will contact the participants). Final selection will comprise of 3 authors.

The nominated projects of the XXVI edition of Computer Space have been announced! All the nominees in the nine categories are listed below: Categories: Computer graphics, Computer animation, Computer and electronic music, Mobile applications and art, Web design: art & culture, Web design: society & institutions, Web design: entertainment & hobby, Web design: technology & market, Web design: information & media. At this year's edition, there will also be special awards that will be given from the Organizing Committee of Computer Space 2014. *The winners in each category as well as the winners of the special awards will be announced at the Awarding Ceremony (02nd November, Sunday) at 17.00h in the Central Military Club. |
