Description: "Intertidal" is a term used on nature to describe the sedimentary zone between the sea and land, characterized by having a microclimate influence by the low tide and high tide oscillations, with diferent leves and temperatures. In this way, this project is thought and composed on a similar process determined by improvisations nights at piano, recording this sessions creating several sound layers which are post-depurated and processed trying to approach to the final piece.

The work explores notions of pulse and micro-rhythmic developments using as a timbral framework a set of gamelan recordings. The purpose of this piece was to investigate distinctive rhythmic features of traditional gamelan music using the unique timbral explorations of electroacoustic music.
