The contest part of CS’2011 continues until Sept. 30 (via “Registration” menu). Already registered projects could be reviewed via “Projects” menu. The festival programme will take part October 27-29 in Sofia, in different halls near “Cristal” in the Center (exact places will be announced in the beginning of October). In addition to the core programme (award ceremony, projects presentation, exhibition, interactive installations, show events etc.), several focus events will be organized: - Computer Animation seminar; State of the art computer animation movies and some aspects of their development/creation will be presented; International and national achievements during the last years will be presented, as well as the winners of Computer Animation category of CS’2011; - Printed design and papers workshop; Printed design is influencing other media and some of the approaches are incorporated in web design and modern media; During the workshop some interesting examples of different papers (historically) and printed technologies will be demonstrated; Examples of books decoration and graphics (gravures, lithographs, etching) will be explored; - Fonts - history and creation; The seminar will explore the history and different methods of font creation for printed media and computer interfaces. Some of the new tendences in font styles and font development will be presented. Fonts and texts are playing central role in modern media interfaces, and their design is very important for the overall look of every modern product. - Viewpoints towards photography, presented by famous photographers; If you like to participate actively in the seminars with your input/presentation or you like to share your experience, we will be happy to receive your feedback as soon as possible but until the end of September ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ).
